National Parks Posters: Then & Now at Poster House

A few weeks ago, the United States International Poster Biennial was honored to participate in National Parks Posters: Then & Now at Poster House in New York City. Christopher Scott, President and Co Founder of USIPB, was joined by Taber Calderon and Marlena Buczek Smith for a thoughtful conversation on the historical impact of National Park posters and their continued influence on contemporary design practice. Together, they reflected on the enduring legacy of American poster design and how today’s designers reinterpret themes of landscape, identity, and conservation for new audiences.

At the conclusion of the event, our Vice President and Co Founder Ryan Slone presented the USIPB Legacy Award to Poster House in recognition of its outstanding contribution to advancing and preserving the poster arts in the United States.
