Dear Mr. Scott
regularly receive your e-mails, and I like your great energy and a good cry you produce. I know little English, but you’ll understand what I’m writing. My name is Slobodan Štetić, I’m 54, I graduated the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade. I was involved in painting, photography and graphics.
Now I do graphic design and especially theatrical poster. I exhibited in numerous exhibitions in Serbia, where I live and work as a professor of Graphic Design-Posters of Philology and Arts in Kragujevac. Posters have exhibited in the former Yugoslavia, now Serbia, but also in Moscow, Sofia … I won some awards. I want to exhibit their work more, but unfortunately I do not have enough information about the exhibitions around the world, or do they come with a delay. Please, if you do not mind send me some dates for competitions. ščjem you on this occasion some of your posters and photos from the annual exhibitions of my students. I hope you and meeting you in Serbia.

Firstly thank you for your kind words.
I guess the best way to start is Poster Biennales like Russia, Poland, Mexico, Bolivia etc. Then their is other very good competitions like ‘Poster for Tomorrow’ and ‘Mut zur Wut’. It is all about keeping a close eye on what is happening around the world and researching the best competitions that is best for your work. After all this you should have a database of information on competitions that you can use every year.
I would be more than happy to have some of my posters and photos at your annual exhibitions of your students.
If you would like me to do a conference or workshop at your university let me know.
