So honored to win the Award of Best of Category in Poster Design with my design ‘Flow Is A State Of Mind’ at the 67th Art Directors Association of Iowa last month.
Since 1958, The Art Directors Association of Iowa has hosted an annual design exhibition that celebrates and awards student and professional designers across Iowa. For nearly seven decades, the ADAI have endeavored to lift up fellow Iowans and build a community that showcases our talented peers.
I was genuinely shocked when I received this award. It was such an unexpected and humbling moment, and I’m incredibly grateful to be recognized by the association and the judges.
A special congratulations to my students whose outstanding work has been recognized with top honors. Alexis Nishijima received the Award of Excellence in Identity Mark for her thoughtful branding project for Oh My Dog Rescue. Jaelyn Sproule earned the Award of Best of Category in Video Spot for her compelling campaign for Airbnb. Clarissa Olson was recognized with the Award of Excellence in Animation & Motion Graphics for her innovative project with giffgaff. I’m incredibly proud of their creativity, dedication, and the impact their work continues to make.
