Design Conversation at MODA: Christopher Scott

I was honored to be invited by the Museum of Design Atlanta [MODA] to take part in their Design Conversation series, where I had the opportunity to share my work, creative process, and experiences within the field of poster design.

During the talk, I discussed the role of posters as a powerful form of visual communication, my journey as a designer, educator, and curator, and the ways design can connect people, cultures, and ideas across borders. The conversation also touched on my work with international poster biennials, including the United States International Poster Biennial, and the importance of creating platforms that celebrate design excellence and global creative exchange.

Thank you to MODA for the invitation and for creating a space where design, dialogue, and community can come together. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on my practice and share the stories behind the work.

“Christopher, I really appreciated your talk. What stayed with me was how clearly you framed it, that one person, with a point of view they actually believe in, can put something out into the world and it can move people, it can change things. Just a really thoughtful talk. Glad I was there.”
