It is not very often I am speechless; however visiting the beautiful Quilotoa Volcano (which is a water-filled caldera in the western Andes of Ecuador) a few months ago was certainly one of those special moments that took my breath away.
Ecuador is without doubt the most beautiful country in the world.
Last month was the official opening ceremony of the PosterFest 2018 in Budapest, Hungary. It was an honour to have 2 of my posters (Suzhou Zigzag and Unfair Play) selected for the exhibition with many iconic designers such as Milton Glaser, Lex Drewinski, Niklaus Troxler and more.
I am extremely proud to announce that my poster ‘Tree Shadow’ has been selected for the 2018 edition of the best social poster competition in the world Poster For Tomorrow.
This year the topic was ‘A planet for tomorrow’ and 3654 posters were submitted from all around the world. Starting from last week the 100 selected posters began a world tour in Paris, France and will continue in various cities all around the world.
This is the 8th occasion that I have been selected for this prestigious international competition which I will cannot believe to be honest.
A huge thanks to all of the people who like, comment, share and support my work all around the world, I cannot express in words how much it means to me.
On the 1st June it was an honour to be part of the selection jury with Gisela Calderón, Oswaldo Terreros Herrera, Adn Montalvo and Karina Larrea for the national illustration competition ‘El Quiteño’ organised by the Secretaría de Cultura Quito and the Municipio de Quito.
More than 600 illustrations were submitted from all around Ecuador of which 80 have been selected to be published in a prestigious book and exhibition in Quito, Ecuador later this year.
A huge thank to Pablo Corral Vega (Secretario de Cultura del Municipio de Quito) for the kind invitation.
