A few weeks ago it was an honor to be an invited speaker at the Cualquier Verdura – Festival Internacional de Diseño 2019 in Mendoza, Argentina. As part of the event we had a small exhibition of the Ecuador Poster BienalⓇ thanks to the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo and the Facultad de Artes y Diseño UNCuyo.
During my short time in Mendoza it was wonderful to talk to the very friendly people and also the other invited speakers especially Claudia Tello and Natalia Volpe.
A huge thanks to Lucas and Gabriela for the kind invitation.
A huge thanks to Luis López for helping me design the book. Also thanks to David Jiménez for making the visual language for the 2018 edition. Finally a big thanks to all of the designers who participated in the competition to make this book so very special.

Finally proud to share the wonderful news that I am currently featured in this month’s iconic Computer Arts Magazine.
Back when I was a Graphic Design student at the Ulster University, Magee I greatly admired the Computer Arts Magazine of which I bought each month (when I had the money of course). So it was always a dream to be part of this famous magazine.
If you are based in the UK it would be great if you could take some photos and share them with me.
A huge thanks to Beren Neal Editor, Computer Arts magazine at Future Plc for the confidence and patience.
Yesterday was the award ceremony and inauguration of the SIGNÚ International Competition of Illustration for Students 2019 organized by the Universidad UTE in collaboration with the Alianza Francesa.
Nearly 600 works were received from 40 universities from 16 countries (China, Poland, Ecuador, Denmark, Colombia, France, Iran, Mexico and many more) of which 80 were selected for the exhibition in the beautiful Gallery of Art in the Alianza Francesa Quito, Ecuador.
It was a huge pleasure to be the director of this event which was a long process of roughly 10 months. This project could not have been made possible without the help and support of many people; firstly I would like to thank the wonderful team of teachers from the career of Graphic Design, the Department of Communication (a special mention to Maria Sol Meneses who believed in our vision from the very start), all the universities and colleges who participated, to all the team of the Alianza Francesa (a special mention to Charles Vix who opened the doors to your amazing building, and finally thank you to Esteban Vallejo the Director of the career of Graphic Design for trusting in my crazy idea and for being by my side throughout all the process.
