Christopher Scott is only 27 years old and he is already an internationally recognised social awareness poster designer. Born in Northern Ireland, he received both a bachelors and a masters degree in Design and Communication from the University of Ulster, Magee.
The concepts of his posters are paramount to his visuals, and his work communicates strong and meaningful messages with humanity at the core of his designs.
Scott has been recognised by many organisations such as Posterfortomorrow, Good50x70, Mut Zur Wut, Designboom. Adobe Design Achievement Awards and he received a silver medal in the International Design Awards.
His work has been exhibited in Italy, Peru, Korea, the United States and many more countries worldwide, including the Louvre in Paris, France. He has been a member of multiple international juries and has collaborated with legends in the field such as Reza Abedini, Woody Pirtle and Yossi Lemel.
Currently he is a Professor of Graphic Design at the Universidad Metropolitana del Ecuador.

Very proud to finally announce that my student Ariel Guevara (who studies Graphic Design at the Universidad UTE) has been selected in the prestigious Golden Bee 13 Moscow Global Biennale of Graphic Design in Russia.
The Golden Bee is considered to be one of the best biennales of graphic design in the world so it is very hard to describe in words how proud I am of my student. Ariel’s work will be exhibited in Moscow started next week and then it will begin a world tour in various countries around the world.

I am extremely proud to announce that my poster ‘Tree Shadow’ has been selected for the 2018 edition of the best social poster competition in the world Poster For Tomorrow.
This year the topic was ‘A planet for tomorrow’ and 3654 posters were submitted from all around the world. Starting from last week the 100 selected posters began a world tour in Paris, France and will continue in various cities all around the world.
This is the 8th occasion that I have been selected for this prestigious international competition which I will cannot believe to be honest.
A huge thanks to all of the people who like, comment, share and support my work all around the world, I cannot express in words how much it means to me.
On the 1st June it was an honour to be part of the selection jury with Gisela Calderón, Oswaldo Terreros Herrera, Adn Montalvo and Karina Larrea for the national illustration competition ‘El Quiteño’ organised by the Secretaría de Cultura Quito and the Municipio de Quito.
More than 600 illustrations were submitted from all around Ecuador of which 80 have been selected to be published in a prestigious book and exhibition in Quito, Ecuador later this year.
A huge thank to Pablo Corral Vega (Secretario de Cultura del Municipio de Quito) for the kind invitation.

Last week was the official opening of the latest exhibition from the Retroavangarda Gallery in Warsaw, Poland.
During the ceremony 20 posters were exhibited from many famous designers from all around the world such as Peter Bankov, Mono Grinbaum, HOMEWORK, Leo Lin, Mieczysław Wasilewski, and my fellow Ecuadorian Mario Fuentes.
I was honoured that my poster ‘Signo 8’ was part of this special exhibition.
